These Terms and Conditions govern the use of this website and the purchase of used mobility scooters and related products from Used Mobility Scooters (operated by Echo Labs Pty Ltd).

By using this website or purchasing from us, you agree to these Terms.

Important Notice - Used Products

All scooters sold are used, refurbished, or ex-demo products unless otherwise stated.

These are not new products and will show varying levels of wear consistent with prior use.

By purchasing, you acknowledge that you are buying a used product, not a new product, and condition, performance, and lifespan will vary.

Product Condition & Representation

  • All scooters are inspected and tested for basic safety and functionality
  • Condition grading (Gold, Silver, Bronze) is determined at our discretion
  • Cosmetic wear such as scratches, scuffs, or fading may be present
  • Images and descriptions are indicative only

No Guarantee of “Like New” Condition

Unless explicitly stated, scooters are not guaranteed to be in new or near-new condition.

Battery Disclaimer

  • Batteries are tested at time of sale
  • Battery lifespan varies based on usage and charging habits
  • Battery performance is not guaranteed beyond the warranty period

Battery degradation is considered normal wear and tear.

Orders & Pricing

  • All prices are in AUD
  • We may cancel or reject orders at our discretion
  • Refunds will be issued if payment has already been processed

Delivery & Risk

  • Delivery is courier curbside unless otherwise arranged
  • No installation or in-home setup is included
  • Risk transfers to the customer upon delivery or collection
  • We are not liable for delivery delays or access issues

Returns & Refunds

  • Change-of-mind returns are not guaranteed and are at our discretion
  • A restocking fee of approximately 15% may apply (subject to change)
  • Transport and delivery costs are non-refundable
  • Items must be returned in original condition

Returns required under Australian Consumer Law will be honoured.

Warranty - Used Scooters

Used scooters include a limited 1-month warranty from delivery.

Warranty Covers

  • Major mechanical faults only

Warranty Does Not Cover

  • Cosmetic wear
  • Battery degradation
  • General wear and tear
  • Misuse or improper use
  • Water damage or overloading
  • Transport damage after delivery
  • Labour, callout, or shipping costs

Used Product Limitation

Due to the nature of used products, faults may develop over time that were not present or detectable at the time of sale. The buyer accepts this risk.

Inspection Disclaimer

All scooters are inspected prior to sale, however not all faults or future issues can be identified.

Customer Responsibilities

  • Use the product correctly
  • Follow charging and maintenance guidelines
  • Report issues promptly

Trade-Ins

  • Trade-in values are estimates only
  • Final value is subject to inspection
  • We may reject any trade-in

Product Availability

Used products are limited and may sell quickly. Availability is not guaranteed until payment is confirmed.

Australian Consumer Law

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under Australian Consumer Law.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from the use of our products.

Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Used Mobility Scooters and Echo Labs Pty Ltd from any claims arising from misuse or breach of these Terms.

No Verbal Representations

Customers acknowledge that no verbal statements, representations, or assurances made by staff or representatives form part of any contract or agreement unless confirmed in writing.

Inspection Encouraged

Customers are encouraged to inspect products in person or request additional photos, videos, or information prior to purchase. By completing a purchase, the customer confirms they are satisfied with the condition of the product.

No Reliance

The customer acknowledges that they have not relied on any representation, statement, or warranty other than those expressly set out in these Terms and Conditions.

Applicable Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Australia.

Changes

We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the website constitutes acceptance of any changes.
